Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is the practice of medicine that enhances or improves the appearance of a particular facial or body feature through the use of medical or surgical techniques.

Unlike plastic or reconstructive surgery, which is performed on a body part that is abnormal because of birth defects, trauma, developmental difficulties, infection, cancer, or other disease, cosmetic surgery is performed on a normal body part in order to enhance or improve its appearance.
Cosmetic surgery can be performed on all areas of the head, neck and body, and is almost exclusively considered an elective surgical procedure by most insurance companies.
